Due to blizzard and near-blizzard conditions, WisDOT office buildings including DMV offices are closed for the rest of today – Friday, January 12, 2024 – in the following counties: Door, Kewaunee, Brown, Manitowoc, Marinette, Calumet, Outagamie, Fond du Lac, Shawano, Oconto, Winnebago, Dodge, Sheboygan, Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha.
Use this application if you want to check any of the following:

License issuance and expiration date.
- If your license is
REAL ID compliant.
- Classes and
endorsements and their current status.
- The status "OTH," means that license type has been replaced with another license type and is no longer valid.
- The status "EXP," means it is expired and no longer valid.
- Driving restriction(s).

Tier of operation will be displayed if you have a
CDL.

Federal Medical exam and expiration date will be displayed if you are a Tier 1 CDL driver.
- Information about your physical and testing status as well as future requirements will be displayed if you are a
school bus driver.
You will be provided with the opportunity to print your detailed information. If your driver license is not currently valid, you may use our
online reinstatement service to check your reinstatement eligibility.
